I combine genomics, biochemistry, and natural history to study predator-prey coevolution

A bit about me:

I come from a working-class family in Indiana. I am the first in my family to go to college.

I like to forage mushrooms, run trails, play board games, cook food outside, explore new places, and read epic fantasy stories.

And I am amazed by natural history. I watched nature documentaries every night as a kid, and credit David Attenborough’s spellbinding narration of species’ interactions for my love of learning and teaching biology.
